Tyson Foods Inc.
TSN Tyson Foods, Inc. produces, distributes and markets chicken, beef, pork, prepared foods and related products. Through its wholly owned subsidiary, Cobb-Vantress, Tyson Foods is a breeding stock supplier. Tyson's operations consist of breeding and raising chickens, as well as the processing and marketing of these food products and related products, including animal and pet food ingredients. Tyson Foods is also engaged in the processing of live fed cattle and hogs, and production of dressed beef and pork carcasses into primal and sub-primal meat cuts, case-ready products and fully cooked beef and pork products. Additionally, Tyson also produces allied products, such as hides and variety meats for sale to further processors. Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. accounted for approximately 13% of Tyson's consolidated sales by the end of fiscal year 2005. Tyson Foods exported to more than 80 foreign countries in fiscal 2005.
