Tootsie Roll Industries, Inc. is engaged in the manufacture and sale of confectionery products. The company’s products are distributed through approximately 100 candy and grocery brokers and by the company itself to approximately 15,000 customers throughout the United States. These customers include wholesale distributors of candy and groceries, stores, supermarkets, dollar stores, chain grocers, discount chains, drug chains, cooperative grocery associations, warehouse and membership club stores, vending machine operators, the United States Military and fund raising charitable organizations. During the year ended 2006, Revenues from Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. aggregated approximately 23.7% of total net sales.
