financial-holding company, whose chief subsidiary is Silicon Valley Bank.
Through its subsidiaries, the Bank also offers brokerage, investment advisory
and asset management services. It also offer non-banking products and
services, such as investment banking, funds management, private equity
investment and equity valuation services, through its other subsidiaries and
divisions. SVB Financial Group offers financial products and services through
four lines of banking and financial services: Commercial Banking, SVB
Capital, SVB Alliant and Other Business Services. The company's deposits are
obtained from commercial customers within its technology, life science,
private equity and premium wine industry sectors. Lending products and
services include traditional term loans, equipment loans, revolving lines of
credit, real estate loans, asset-based loans, vineyard-development loans and
