PACCAR Inc. is a global company whose two primary businesses units include the design, manufacture and distribution of light, medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks and related aftermarket distribution of parts, and finance and leasing services. PACCAR distributes trucks and parts mainly through its independent dealer network. In North America, trucks are sold under the Kenworth and Peterbilt nameplates and in Europe, under the DAF and Foden nameplates. PACCAR's finance and leasing activities are largely related to Company products and associated equipment. Other manufactured products include industrial winches. Financing and leasing operations are conducted by PACCAR subsidiaries in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and Europe.
