Inc. MTX Minerals Technologies Inc. is a resource- and technology-based
company which develops, produces and markets
worldwide a range of specialty mineral, mineral-based and synthetic mineral
products and supporting systems and services. The company has two units:
Specialty Minerals and Refractories. The Specialty Minerals unit produces and
sells the synthetic mineral product precipitated calcium carbonate and the
processed mineral product quicklime. The Refractories unit produces and
markets monolithic and shaped refractory materials and specialty products,
services and application and measurement equipment, and calcium metal and
