real estate activities, medical product development, winery operations, and
residual banking and lending activities that are in run-off. Its segments
include Manufacturing, Domestic Real Estate, Medical Product Development and
Other Operations. Leucadia National's manufacturing
operations are conducted through Idaho Timber, LLC,
which offers wood products, and Conwed Plastics, LLC, which manufactures and markets lightweight plastic
netting used for a variety of purposes. Its domestic real estate operations
consist of a variety of commercial properties, residential land development
projects and other unimproved land. Its medical product development segment
is conducted through Sangart. Other operations mainly
consist of Leucadia’s wineries, Caribbean-based
telecommunications services, and residual banking and lending activities that
