LEG Leggett & Platt is a diversified manufacturer that designs and produces a broad range of engineered components and products that can be found in most homes, offices, retail stores and automobiles. Leggett & Platt's business is organized into five business units. Leggett, through its Residential Furnishings unit, supplies a variety of components used by bedding and upholstered furniture manufacturers in the assembly of their finished products. The Commercial Fixturing and Components group consist of two units: Fixture and Display, and Office Furniture Components. Its Aluminum Products unit is an independent producer of non-automotive aluminum die castings. The Industrial Materials unit produces steel rod, drawn wire and welded steel tubing, in addition to specialty wire products.
