Imation Corp. IMN Imation Corp. is engaged in the development,
manufacturing, sourcing, marketing and distribution of removable data storage
media products and accessories under several different brand names in
approximately 100 countries around the world. Imation’s
storage media products are used in conjunction with hardware devices, such as
tape libraries, certain consumer electronic devices and desktops, disk
drives, and laptop computers that are sold by other companies. Additionally, the
company sources, markets and distributes select flash and removable hardware
and accessories for data storage media. In April, 2006, Imation
acquired substantially all of the assets of Memorex International Inc.,
including the Memorex brand name and the capital stock of its operating
subsidiaries engaged in the business of the design, development, marketing,
distribution and sale of hardware, media and accessories used for the storage
