FII Federated Investors, along with its consolidated subsidiaries, is a provider of investment management products and related financial services. Federated sponsors, markets and provides investment-related services to various investment products, as well as mutual funds and separately managed accounts. Federated provided investment advisory services to 133 Federated-sponsored funds during the year ended December 2004. Federated's investment advisory subsidiaries managed 53 money market funds, 46 fixed-income funds and 34 equity funds. The company also provides a broad range of services to support the operation, administration and distribution of Federated-sponsored funds. These services provided consist of administrative services, shareholder servicing and general support.
