FHN First Horizon National Corporation is a bank holding company and a financial holding company. First Horizon National provides various services through its subsidiaries, such as general banking services for consumers, businesses, financial institutions and governments. It provides mortgage banking services; through FTN Financial, sales and underwriting of bank-eligible securities and securities eligible for underwriting by financial subsidiaries, mortgage loans and advisory services and equity research, transaction processing, trust, fiduciary and agency services, credit card products, discount brokerage and full-service brokerage, venture capital; equipment finance, investment and financial advisory services. This includes investment advisor to First Funds, a proprietary family of mutual funds, mutual fund sales, retail and commercial insurance sales, private mortgage reinsurance, and lending to consumers.
