What’s the buzz—
Entergy Corporation is an energy company engaged in
electric power production and retail electric distribution operations.
Entergy operates through three business units: U.S. Utility, Non-Utility
Nuclear and Energy Commodity Services. The U.S. Utility unit generates,
transmits, distributes and sells electric power in Arkansas,

Services unit included Entergy-Koch, LP and the Company's non-nuclear
wholesale assets business. Entergy also has a Competitive Retail Services
business unit. In January 2004, Entergy sold its 50% interest in the Crete project,
which is a 320-megawatt power plant located in Illinois. In November 2004, Entergy sold
its energy trading business, Entergy-Koch, LP.
