health applications, including cervical cancer screening, treatment of
excessive menstrual bleeding, radiation treatment of early stage breast
cancer, and radiation treatment of patients with malignant brain tumors. The
company operates in three divisions: domestic diagnostic products, which develops
and markets the ThinPrep System in the U.S.; domestic surgical products,
which develops and manufactures the NovaSure System, the MammoSite Radiation
Therapy System and the GliaSite Radiation Therapy System, and markets these
products in the United States, and international, which markets its
diagnostic and surgical products outside of the United States, with a
