City National provides a variety of banking, investing and trust services to its customers through its wholly owned banking subsidiary, City National Bank. The Bank operates through 54 offices, including 12 full-service regional centers, in Southern California, the San Francisco Bay Area and New York City. The Company has two units: Commercial and Private Banking, and Other. The Other unit comprises all subsidiaries, wealth management services and the portion of corporate departments allocated to the operating segments other than Commercial and Private Banking. The Bank’s principal client base comprises small to mid-sized businesses, entrepreneurs, professionals and individuals.
