Cinergy Corp. is the holding company of The Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company (CG&E) and PSI Energy, Inc. CG&E is a combination electric and gas public utility company that provides service in the southwestern portion of Ohio, and through its subsidiary, The Union Light, Heat and Power Company, in nearby areas of Kentucky. CG&E serves approximately 2,064,000 customers while ULH&P caters to approximately 345,000 customers in northern Kentucky. PSI is an integrated and regulated electric utility that provides service to approximately 2,283,000 customers in north central, central and southern Indiana. Cinergy conducts its business in three units, Commercial Business Unit, Regulated Business Unit and Power Technology and Infrastructure Services Business Unit.
