AVY Avery Dennison Corporation produces pressure-sensitive
materials (stickers and labels), office products, and a variety of tickets,
tags, labels and other converted products. Some pressure-sensitive materials
are converted into labels and other products through embossing, printing,
stamping and die cutting, and some are sold in unconverted form as base
materials, tapes and reflective sheeting. Avery Dennison also manufactures
and sell a variety of office products, and other converted products and other
items, such as binders, organizing systems, markers, fasteners, business
forms, reflective highway safety products, as well as tickets, tags, and
imprinting equipment for retail and apparel manufacturers. The company has
three operating units: Pressure-sensitive Materials, Office and Consumer
Products, and Retail Information Services. During the fiscal year ended
January 2005, it acquired Rinke Etiketten, a privately held business in Stock Quotes and Other InformationSearch
