insurance brokerage, risk management and related services. The company has
three units. The Brokerage unit primarily places commercial property/casualty
(P/C) and employee benefit-related insurance on behalf of its customers. The
Risk Management unit provides P/C claim third-party administration, loss
control and risk management consulting and insurance property appraisals.
Third party administration is mainly the management and processing of claims
for self-insurance programs of Gallagher's clients
