Agilent TechnologiesA Agilent Technologies, Inc. is a measurement company
providing core bio-analytical and electronic measurement solutions to the
communications, electronics, life sciences and chemical analysis industries.
Agilent has two business segments: the electronic measurement segment and the
bio-analytical measurement segment. The company’s electronic measurement
business focuses on the communications and electronics industries, while its
bio-analytical measurement business focuses on the life sciences industry and
on the environmental, chemical, food and petrochemical industries. Agilent
sells its products mainly through direct sales, and also uses distributors,
resellers, manufacturer's representatives, telesales and electronic commerce.
In April 2006, Agilent bought SynPro Corp. In August 2006, Agilent bought
